Peak Performance Boot Camp 2014
Quote Of The Day:
“Either be groovy or leave, man.” -Bob Dylan
I am happy to report that no one had to leave Peak Performance Boot Camp because they weren’t groovy enough. (Thank you Brandon Fletcher for the quote). For the third year in a row, I have had the pleasure of being the vocal coach on faculty for this amazing event. Boot Camp is one of those things that is hard to explain to someone unless they were there. But, you can get a glimpse of the awesomeness of the event and the talent of the bands at www.peakperformanceproject.com. There were daily blogs, videos, and photos that helped describe the learning, loving, laughing, creating and not sleeping of this magical week. Working with fellow faculty: Tamara Stanners, Ryan Guldemond of Mother Mother, Bob D’Eith, Natasha Duprey, Brian Thompson, Chris Wynters, Scott Johnson, Earl Pereira, and Kahlil Ashanti to name a few, was akin to being on an all star team. It is our joy and utmost pleasure to share our years of experience with these up and coming bands.
To the 12 bands from BC and the 12 from Alberta who won a place at the Boot Camp and a place in my heart, I wish you all the best in your careers. If you, the reader, see any of these artists coming to a venue near you, please get out and support them. You will be so glad you did.
